The Large Flowerheads enthusiastically bring
to life the musical sights and sounds of the ‘60s.
Imagine being part of the scene when the songs
spoke of love, sunshine, and happiness. These four accomplished musicians recreate
the 60s sound with their rich vocal harmonies, spirited grooves, and prominent guitar riffs.
Vintage accessories and 60's-inspired fashion add to the fun ‘60s vibe.
The Large Flowerheads, who were popular in
the 1990s, have returned after a 10-year hiatus. Three original members, Maureen “Moe” Jerant, Greg Geist, and Billy Trexler, regrouped after an impromptu jam session at a friend’s party. With
a passion for the music of the ‘60s, they recruited new member, David “Dano” D’Amelio, for his knowledge of “all things vintage”, his retro Teisco del Ray bass, and his Farfisa organ.
After months of eager anticipation, The Large
Flowerheads took the stage on the first day of summer 2008. They sold out their
self-produced Reunion Concert at the Bethlehem Ice House. The show garnered rave reviews from fans and press alike.
The buzz surrounding The Large Flowerheads
keeps getting louder as their fan base keeps growing and they keep packing venues.
The Flowerheads aspire to share the love and fun of the ‘60s era with as many people as possible in as many places
as possible.
